Ponderosa Campground is still a great place to relax, but the private trails adjoining us are posted. Trail riders will need to consider shuttling their equine to the trail heads at the Missouri Conservation Huckleberry Wildlife Management Area. It’s 1.3 miles in distance. Community First Bank of Pea Ridge has the 765 acres listed with www.obrienrealty.biz, for those interested.
Ponderosa Horse Camp grounds are available for large group camping and trail riding, overnight stabling, historical reenactments, horse shows, clinics, day rides and youth events.
Ponies are welcome too.
